    * I grew up in Oregon's Willamette Valley, and currently live in Austin, Texas.
    * Married November 7, 2003.
    * Bought my house on March 4, 2005.

    * Started dating Sammi & Stuart on April 5, 2008.
    * Divorced May 2, 2008.
    * I now share my home with my dear friend Mark (who is the big brother I never had).
    * Mark and I live with 7 spoiled rotten cats. Two are his and the rest are mine.
    * I am afraid of anything with more than four legs, especially if it can fly.
    * I am obsessed with the color purple. Not the movie, the color.
    * I am a total TNG nerd and have met John DeLancie, Michael Dorn, Brent Spiner & Wil Wheaton (who is simply one of the coolest motherfuckers around).
    * I was lucky enough to be at the (surprise) WORLD premiere of Star Trek with my fellow TNG nerd and friend of 17 years, Julia! You can listen to my fangirl nerdiness squee here.
    * On my 29th birthday I bought myself three tattoos... and less than a year later I am already itching to get another.
    * I'm in therapy to prevent the experiences of my past from shaping who I will be tomorrow.

    * I believe that one should not add a pet of any kind to ones family unless they are fully prepared and able to provide proper and adequate care to the animal for its entire life.

     'Sup, homeskillet. I'm Micah, the whitest white girl you'll ever meet. Since my personality is odd and multi-faced it appears (and I doubt that makes sense, but frankly my dear I don't give a damn), heres fifteen facts about me.


    1. I am old enough to know better, but young enough to not know.
    2. I was born in Latvia- a small country near Russia.
    3. I currently live in the Las Vegas valley in Nevada.
    4. I love slash- from real people to fictional characters. I'm weird like that.
    5. Vermont is the only state with a state capital without a McDonalds, last time I checked.
    6. I hate unnecessary chatspeak. 'Teh' is the exact same number of letters as 'the', thank you very much.
    7. I love Transformers. I can name roughly about 50 off the top of my mind.
    8. I speak poor Latvian- I know some words, give or take. Enough to visit.
    9. I watch dirty TV shows. South Park is my inappropriate fantasy.
    10. I curse like a sailor, and I will work around the filters.
    11. I'm editor of my school newspaper. I disapprove slaughtering of the English language. It's a rather nice language.

    looking for people to read..
     Alright, pay attention you're about to learn something.

    Left handed people live slightly shorter lives than right handed people.

    That's a fact. I don't know why, don't ask me why I have no clue and I'm right handed so I don't care.

    Armadillos are able to contract leprosy.

    Fact. I don't even really know what leprosy is and I don't think I want to google it because I'm pretty sure it involves a lot of pus. But that makes me feel bad for those poor armadillos.

    Awww Armadillos all covered in pus. Ok that's gross. I'm very sorry for that mental image.

    Ten years ago, only 500 people in China could ski. This year, an estimated 5,000,000 Chinese will visit ski resorts.

    Again, fact! does it even snow in China? what's with all these Chinese people skiing? I have no idea but it's starting to creep me out.

    Alright, I admit I got distracted, this is an add me community.. I'm supposed to be talking about me.

    I'm reasonably tall. I have eyes, they're apparantly quite nice. I don't like long walks on beaches because I'm from England and beaches are bloody cold and usually covered in rocks.

    Rocks hurt to walk on.

    I'm married and old. Well late 20's but that may as well mean that I invented fire to some people.

    I'm looking for people that actually write entries, I want to feel like I'm actually learning about your life and I want your life to not be like the lives of 10,000 other people.

    I want people that are individuals, that are into unusual things, that have unusual beliefs or just genuinely intelligent people.

    If you can hand on heart say that there's absolutely nobody on the face of the earth like you, then absolutely add me and I think we'll probably get along great.

    I don't care if you're angsty, whiney, full of yourself, old, young, hot or look like someone dragged you out back and beat you with the ugly stick.

    I just want some genuinely interesting stuff to read.

    I've used the very same LJ account for seven years; none of that got five journals and I retired two and didn't like the name of the fourth so I started a new one bullshit.

    I have guy ADD, though lately I've been hoping I'd be finished with that, and can be ready to settle. I have an extremely apparent fetish for certain features. You'll find evidence of that in even my most recent entries.

    I need a plethora of new friends but I was recently forced into unemployment because of unseen transportation issues and am going to be unemployed for many more weeks and will need more journals to keep me entertained. So I'm welcoming of all ages and backgrounds and just about anyone.

    I'm 21, married in 8/08, and currently pregnant with my first and only child. I will be delivering him, my son, on New Year's Eve. I would say I'm fairly average for a 21 year old...you know...indulgent in bad habits, tattooed, creative, irresponsible, impulsive, in major debt, adventurous. Though I don't attend school (not by choice) and pretty much way past my "party phase" (had my share of excess promiscuity, drugs, and alcohol). I have a history of short-lived jobs and moving to new cities for no reason. My journal is updated often and I have a habit of frequently sharing photos.

    So basically, I'm on LJ everyday and will continue to be so if you want to be friends. Add me and comment below.

    Hi, I'm Beth. I'm fourteen, but I'm not really immature or anything.

    I love writing. I mostly write slash fan fiction, but I do write a few original stories.

    I like to read and my favorite books are most of Ellen Hopkins' books and Holly Black's books. I basically stalk the Young Adult section of Barnes and Noble for good books. I love reading Shakesphere, too! My favorites are Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. I'd love to be in one of the those plays.

    That being said, I'm absolutely in love with musicals. I've never been in a musical myself, but I hope I can one day. I love RENT, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, and Repo: The Genetic Opera. My mom used to play the original broadway cast version of RENT in the car when I was a lot younger. I was bascially raised on it.

    Music is one of the biggest parts of my life. I love discovering new bands. Some of my favorite bands are Cobra Starship, My Chemical Romance, Owl City, The Used, Mayday Parade, Panic! at the Disco, Midtown, Katy Perry, A Rocket to the Moon, The Beatles, NeverShoutNever, The Ready Set, You Me At Six, The Secret Handshake, Forever the Sickest Kids, 3Oh!3, The Cab, The Summer Set, Hollywood Undead, The Academy Is..., Amely, The Arrival, Cartel, and Gym Class Heros. There's a lot more, but those are just the bands I've loved forever. I play guitar and sing, butI'm not in a band yet, but I want to be a musician.

    I'm bisexual, but not in a the trendy 'I make out with other girls to impress other guys' or 'glorified whore' kind of way. I'm attracted to boys and girls. I have a wonderful girlfriend named Rachel.

    I'm looking for some cool internet friends, especially if your either as nocturnal as me or from another country where it's some sort reasonable hour while it's 12 am to 4 am EST (here). If you wanna be friends, add me.

    Introductions And Such...
     I'm no stranger to LJ, but I've recently resumed being actively involved here after quite some time away. Many of my old LJ friends have moved on to bigger and more mediocre arenas (namely Facebook), so I'm currently open to finding new blogs to read and comment upon. For the most part, I am always interested and willing to converse (and become friends) with individuals from a variety of locations and backgrounds, and I'm not the type of person who acts like they're doing someone a huge favour by adding them as a friend (it's a damn website, for crying out loud!).

    Anyway, this is me (condensed into a reasonably-sized blog entry)...

    1. I currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas, but I was born and raised in Las Vegas (Nevada, not New Mexico). I've also lived in Denver, and have spent multiple periods of time in Los Angeles and New York City. I have no intention of staying in Arkansas forever...

    2. I am a stripper (I avoid the term exotic dancer, as it implies that my performances essentially consist of me dancing, which they don't), and I've owned and operated my own agency of male and female adult entertainers for over 5 years now. I thoroughly enjoy being in this industry as both a performer and an entrepreneur, as the unregulated and off-the-grid nature (as long as we're not dealing in illicit drug trade, and paying our taxes, we're pretty much left alone by the powers that be) of the business affords me the luxury of being exceptionally creative and original in my business strategies. Although I have more conventional workplace experience (particularly as a high-end retail sales manager), I find working within the confines of such rigid protocols to be incredibly stifling and boring; and I have zero tolerance for workplace drama and politics. It's also my prerogative to never again wear a polo shirt, or a pair of khaki slacks.

    3. Speaking of politics: I don't spend much time discussing them, and the same goes for religion. My opinions on both subjects are strongly along the lines of those once championed by the late Ayn Rand. I honestly don't care what anyone else does or believes, as long those beliefs don't a) cramp my personal style, or b) impede upon my ability to earn as much money as I so desire.

    4. I blog often about my professional exploits, but not necessarily for the sake of promoting my business (I have other blogs and social networking profiles specifically for that purpose); rather, the business related entries in my personal blog are from a "behind the scenes" point of view, and are intended for amusement and entertainment in their own right. Yes, I indeed have (often humourous) stories and anecdotes to share from my years of experience in this industry.

    5. I have artistic pursuits, including music, filmmaking, and photography. Although I have a wide-range of musical tastes, I largely gravitate towards artist who are mostly older, and mostly British (Roxy Music, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Japan, Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, etc...). As for cinema, I watch a lot of art-house and foreign language fare; and I've never seen Titanic.

    6. For the record, I am 100% heterosexual, and I tend to get along better with women than men in platonic scenarios; although there are occasional exceptions to that rule. I have absolutely zero interest in ever getting married, or being anyone's father.

    7. I am not interested in meeting anyone under 18 years of age.

    8. For all you fellow MBTI-philes out there, I am an ENTJ.

    9. Despite the fact that I tend to come off as a total hard-ass (mainly because I am a total hard-ass), I have a prominent sense of humour based largely upon sarcasm, puns, and non-sequiturs ("can you break a twenty?"); and I am definitely interested in conversing with individuals who possess these qualities. Scatological humour, however, is a comedic genre to which I never subscribe.

    10. If you haven't noticed by now, I tend to use the British spellings for various words in the English language. I think that, subconsciously, I may get a kick out of leading people to believe I'm European.

    11. I have a Facebook profile, but I hate the website, and I'd rather post a detailed blog regarding a fully developed idea as opposed to an endless barrage of painfully mundane status update (e.g. "Stefan is going to Auto Zone to buy an air filter."). Typically, the only status updates I post there (and on MySpace and Twitter, for that matter) are automated updates for new blog entries.

    12. Although I managed to tone it down fairly well in this blog entry, I am prone to regular and consistent use of the word "fuck", its multiple variations, and other prime examples of blue language. I am by no means the definition of the term "politically correct".

    13. I apologize for nothing, and neither should you.

     i'm an almost-23-year-old student in Montréal, Canada. the best way to see if you wanna friend me is probably to go look at my journal yourself. i don't wanna get too long-winded here.

    if you post entries in french, that's great, because i need to improve mine. if you're from brasil, bonus points, since i'm looking at volunteering at an orphanage there in the next few years and need to pick up portuguese. i'd also like lj friends who live in interesting areas and post lots of pictures. i'm very visually-oriented.
